Description :
The area of Gargaj is located on the southern flank of river Lilut adjoining the village itself. This area contains various temples, many of them now are in ruined condition. The entire temple complex may be scientifically conserved.
The temple THB-5B facing north is comparatively in good state of preservation, consists of a garbhagraha, an antarala inside and a mandapa in which the pillars are missing. On lalata figures of Vishnu flanked by seated Brahma on the right and Siva on the left cardinal points while recesses are shown with standing Navagrahas.River goddesses at the base of the panchasakha doorway enhance the beauty of the temple and doorsill preserves the usual feature of Kachchhapaghata temples.
