Description :

There are seven small mandapikia type temples in Kuti area. The Kuti area is located on the right bank of river Lilut which flows from northwest to southeast . The surface morphology of the area is undulating composed of high and low rock bands spread over the area throughout the region of Thoban. The area is surrounded by various kinds of trees include mango, pepal, khirni as well as bushes. The area on the southern side of river Lilut is known as Gargaj contains varisous ruins of small and big temples.

In fact, Kuti area is a structural complex, consisting of a Baradari along with a small shrine on its both corners, two rows of mandapika shrines and a row of six narrow cells and the complex . The temples are consisting of a small garbhagraha, an Antarala inside and a pillared porch in front. sikhara on all the temples are missing. The pillars are possessing ghatapallava motifs , sometimes miniatur human figures on cardinal sides of the base. The temples are dedicated either to lord Vishnu or lord Siva. The lalatabimba is adorned with the main deity. The temples are in delapidated in condition in witch sikharas are missing.
