Description :
Terahi anciently known as Therambhi is situated about 75 kilometers from Shivpuri contains a beautiful temple popularly known as Mohajamata which is approached through a grand torana and consisting of a garbhagraha an antarala inside and a pillared porch.
The temple faces east preserves Mahisasurmardini in the garbhagraha supposed to be of later edition.
The temple is very unique in the sense that it preserves very unusual sculptures of godess chamunda with her male companian in erotic form along with various figures include deities , vyalas, dikpalas .The ferocious expresoin on face of the goddess Chamunda an other figures indicate the thantrika affiliation of the temple .The temple is made of red sand stone.
