Description :
Temple At Subhashpura, District Shivpuri The temple faces west dedicated to lord Siva has usual plan of Kachchhapaghata temple. A small Siva-linga is placed in the sanctum which is decorated with usual doorway carring the image of dancing Siva on the lalata flanked by Brahma & Vishnu with their consorts on cardinal points. Faces of them are badly mutilated. In the recesses standing Navagrahas are carved. The unique feature of this temple is its sukanasa which is devided by the mouldigs into two bands each with the vyala-mukha and human figures. The mandapa- pillars are decorated with talapatra, ghatapallava and kirtimukha decorations.
